A 26-year-old girl died while en-route to Mizoram from Maharashtra by a special train.
The incident took place on Monday at around 11 pm.
The victim identified as Marlia Vanlalhmangaihzuali is a resident of Keifang in Saitual district.
She fell from a speeding train near Siliguri in West Bengal.
This was informed to media by Pune Mizo Welfare Association chairman Vanlalkima on Tuesday.
The girl, who worked in a private company in Pune, was returning home along with others in the special train, he informed.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
