Assam Rifles DIG Brigadier Digvijay Singh on Sunday paid a visit to Thutak Nunpuitu Team (TNT), a privately run orphanage home on the northern outskirts of Aizawl.

About 500 children including specially-abled kids were staying in the orphanage.

Singh had an interactive session with the workers during which ways and means of improving the infrastructure and habitat of the orphanage were discussed.

As the hidden talents require the right exposure, the DIG also motivated them by donating tracksuits and sports shoes and promised that Assam Rifles will assist the children in all possible ways.

A cake-cutting ceremony was also organised by Assam Rifles.
