Mizoram reported one more death due to Covid19 infection and 320 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Confirming the news, the directorate of information and public relations (DIPR), Mizoram on its health bulletin released on Thursday morning said the new cases were detected out of a total of 3,051 tests.
Mizoram’s positivity rate stands at 10.49%.
Among the 320 newly-infected patients, 161 are male and 159 are female.
Of the new cases, 231 were found positive during the RAgT test, 38 were detected during RT-PCR test, 43 were detected during NAT test and 8 were found positive during FIA test.

With the new cases, Mizoram’s total number of Covid19 cases increased to 1,37,377 on Thursday.
So far, a total of 1,33,819 people have recovered from the infection.
Currently, Mizoram’s active Covid19 cases stand at 3,049.
Covid19 infection has so far claimed the lives of 509 people.
Of the 3,049 active cases, the Aizawl district has 1605, Lunglei 222, Siaha 46, Champhai 216, Kolasib 79, Serchhip 290, Lawngtlai 127, Mamit 103, Khawzawl 119, Hnahthial 118 and the Saitual district has a total of 124 active cases.
On Wednesday, Mizoram reported 273 Covid19 positive cases.
No positive patient died due to Covid19 infection on Wednesday in Mizoram.
The Covid19 positivity rate of Mizoram stood at 8.39 on Wednesday.
