An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale struck 23km South-West of Champhai, Mizoram at 2:28 pm on Thursday, National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
In a tweet, NCS said, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.3, Occurred on 09-07-2020, 14:28:16 IST, Lat: 23.30 & Long: 93.18, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 23km SW of Champhai, Mizoram, India.”
Thursday’s earthquake was the eight quake to have hit Mizoram since May end.
