The COVID-19 tally of Mizoram rose to 151 as three more persons tested positive for coronavirus in the state on Sunday
Of the new patients, two are from Mamit district and one is from Aizawl, a statement issued by the state Information and Public Relations Department said.
Adding further the statement said, “Two persons returned from Maharashtra and one from Delhi. They are out of danger.”
Of the total cases, 96 are active while 55 people have recovered in Mizoram.
State health minister Dr R Lalthangliana, meanwhile, said that testing of samples of all returnees to the state is almost complete.
“However, around 2,000 people are yet to return,” he added.
The health minister further informed that around 2,424 people have been placed under institutional quarantine in the state.
Mizoram imposed the statewide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19 is scheduled to June 30.
