About 108 children received pulse polio drops during a vaccination campaign in Lunglei in Mizoram.
Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles organized the polio vaccination drive for children of Lunglei Garrison and Sethlun area of the town on February 2.

A vaccination drive was carried out with the aim of enhancing the health of the children of local children as well as part of the community service provided by the paramilitary force.
Assam Rifles jawans also distributed the anti-malarial drug Mefloquine among the people participating in the drive.
The programme also included a lecture on lifestyle diseases.
