As many as 73 fresh COVID-19 cases have been detected in Mizoram.
Of these fresh 73 COVID-19 cases, 56 were detected after conducting Rapid Antigen Test, 12 through RT-PCR test conducted at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) and 5 through TrueNAT tests.
The active COVID-19 cases tally in Mizoram has risen to 570.
Most of these 570 active COVID-19 cases are from Aizawl.

Aizawl accounts for 433 active COVID-19 cases.
Lawngtlai – 54, Lunglei – 28, Kolasib – 26, Serchhip – 16, Champhai – 7, Mamit – 3, Saitual – 2 and Siaha – 1 districts also have COVID-19 active cases.
The districts of Khawzawl and Hnahthial are, as of now, COVID-19 free.
Mizoram’s total COVID-19 cases tally stands at 5158.

Of these total 5158 COVID-19 cases, 3629 are male and 1529 are female patients.
Meanwhile, 4576 patients have recovered from the disease and have been discharged from different COVID-19 hospitals in Mizoram.
