The newly floated People’s Representation for Identity of Status of Mizoram (PRISM), on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment form a transparent government, if the party comes to power after the Assembly election in Mizoram.
Addressing the function, PRISM president Vanlalruata said one of the main priorities of the party was to make people aware of their rights and make sure the activities of the government are transparent.
He also said that all the activities of the government would be made public for smooth functioning.
Urging the people to indulge in a free and fair election, Vanlalruata also said his party would ensure that the forthcoming election in the State is held in a free and fair manner.
The political party, which was initially an anti-corruption watchdog, also released its symbol – diamond – during the function held at the party office in Aizawl on Tuesday.
