People’s Right to Information and Development Implementation Society of Mizoram (PRISM) has invited all the party presidents of Mizoram to stand together and unite in deportation of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants.
PRISM also demanded deletion of the names of Bru voters from Mizoram electoral roll.

PRISM sent a letter to the MNF, MPC, MPBJP, MPCC and ZNP presidents saying, there is an intention to reintroduce the Citizenship Amendment Bill which is strongly rejected by the Mizo people as well as the political parties and NGOs.
In the letter, PRISM said, ‘While it is a known fact, that all parties and citizens of the State will unite in opposing the bill, it is not known whether our opposition will create any difference that is why we have to work towards deportation of all illegal Bangladeshi immigrants before the bill is reintroduced.’

Accusing the Election Commission of India (ECI) of wrongdoing, the letter further read, due to misconduct of the ECI, many people living in Tripura were included in the Mizoram electoral roll .
PRISM said the party is working towards filing a public interest litigation in the High Court on the issue and asked for the support of fellow parties.
PRISM had also written a letter to the state home minister Lalchamliana on Monday with a request for deportation of Bangladeshi illegal immigrants from the State.
