Congress-ruled Mizoram will be going to Assembly polls on November 28. Apart from Mizoram, the Election Commission on Saturday announced Assembly elections in four other states – Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Chhattisgarh.
Addressing the media in New Delhi on Saturday , CEC OP Rawat informed that while polling in Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram will be held on November 28, Telangana and Rajasthan will go to polls on December 7.
In Chhattisgarh, Rawat said that elections will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held on November 12 that will cover LWE hit districts. The second phase will be held on November 20.
Rawat said that counting of votes in all the five states will be held simultaneously on December 11. He said that the whole exercise will be completed before December 15.
