Aizawl: Sitting Mizoram Journalists’ Association (MJA) president C. Lalrambuatsaiha will continue in his post for the next term 2024-26.
Lalrambuatsaiha defeated his opponent Lalremsiama in the election of the scribe body held on Tuesday.
The state lone scribe body on Tuesday held its general conference at Lianchhairi Run in Aizawl.
The conference was attended by several journalists across the state.
The general conference also witnessed the election of the organisation leaders for the term 2024-26.
Sitting treasurer of the journalist body C. Lalhmachhuana was elected as vice president unopposed, while incumbent general secretary Lalrinmawia Sailo was elected as the treasurer.
Besides, 11 people were also elected as executive members to lead the organisation.
