The two-week long Mizoram Assembly session ended on Thursday with the House adjourning sine die.
Lalrinliana Sailo, the Speaker of the Assembly announced the adjournment in the afternoon after giving a brief report on the proceedings of the session.

During the session, the State Legislative Assembly passed annual budget amounting to Rs. 10,692.30 crore for the fiscal 2019-2020 presented by Chief Minister Zoramthanga, who also holds the Finance portfolio according to reports.
During the 16-day session, the Assembly passed four government bills, including The Mizoram (Land Revenue) (Amendment) Bill, 2019 and ICFAI University (Mizoram) (Amendment) Bill, 2019 and also adopted two private member resolutions.
The Assembly also laid 20 papers, including ‘The Mizoram Youth Commission Rules, 2019’ and ‘The Mizoram Lokayukta (Amendment) Rules, 2019’.

Of the 392 starred questions, 384 were admitted and 215 were placed in the list of business, 33 questions have been answered in the house and 8 rejected and 3 out of 93 unstarred questions were rejected.
The Assembly also paid tributes to Goa Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar, former Mizoram Assembly Speaker, R. Lalawia and two former ministers Lalrinchhana and PB Rosanga who had passed away recenly.
