The surgery was performed on a 45-year-old female patient with a hole inside her heart with the leakage of one heart valve.

She underwent a key hole surgery through chest wall rather than conventional breast bone cutting (Sterwear) open heart surgery with a great success of the procedure, said a press communiqué.

The main benefit of this surgery is that the post-operative recovery time is very less with less pain and minimal blood loss.

Moreover, the chance of getting infected after the procedure is also comparatively less.

It is to be mentioned that any patient that undergo this surgery can do normal activities within almost two weeks from the time of getting operated.

The patient is recovering well now and will be discharged soon from the hospital.
