Six more persons have tested positive for Coronavirus in Meghalaya on Friday.
“6 more residents who had returned to the State have tested positive for COVID-19. 3 from South West Garo Hills, 1 from West Garo Hills, 1 from East Khasi Hills, and 1 from West Khasi Hills. They had come from Maharashtra, Bangalore, West Bengal and Chennai. All are under quarrantine & asymptomatic,” chief minister, Conrad K Sangma tweeted.
With these fresh six cases, the number of active positive cases in the state climbed up to 14.
Meghalaya recorded a total of 27 cases, 12 have recovered, one died.
