Meghalaya has not reported any fresh COVID19 positive case till the filing of this report on Monday.
Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma said on Monday, 838 samples collected so far for COVID19 test, out of which 714 samples tested negative.

The test results for 113 other samples are awaited, the chief minister informed.
Meghalaya has so far 10 COVID19 positive cases and one death case.
“838 samples have been sent for testing and 714 individuals have been tested negative. There are 11 positive cases in #Meghalaya out of which 10 are active. We await 113 test reports,” Meghalaya chief minister Sangma tweeted on Monday.

On Sunday, the chief minister had tweeted: “All initial samples from Pomlakrai and Laitkor Mawrie of the COVID19 patient in East Khasi Hills, until now, has been tested negative, including the family members. Request headmans (sic) and elders to request all to maintain social distancing and isolation.”
He also informed that all patients and staff of Bethany Hospital have been evacuated and kept in safe locations.
“We are in the process of sanitising the hospital,” the chief minister informed.
