The organisation expressed concerns over alleged irregularities in the functioning of the Registrar and Deputy Registrars, stating they have “no knowledge of the rules, regulations, and administrative procedures”.

The association also claimed qualified and experienced candidates from various state government departments were overlooked for the Deputy Registrar posts, only to be replaced by less deserving candidates lacking university administration experience.

Furthermore, MeTTA alleged irregularities in the recent appointment of contractual posts in the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), where qualified candidates were denied interviews, while less qualified ones secured appointments.
