Guwahati: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has urged the Meghalaya government to address concerns over the integrity of the state’s recruitment process, citing allegations of manipulation and nepotism.

TMC leader Mukul Sangma expressed concerns that the government’s handling of the issue has created frustration and doubt among the youth.

Sangma highlighted the recent Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) controversy, questioning the legality of reviewing results and awarding additional marks.

He also cited the District Selection Committee (DSC) result in East Garo Hills, where three members of the same family were selected, raising suspicions of nepotism.
