SHILLONG: Meghalaya’s rising star in Formula racing, 17-year-old Jaden R Pariat, has made a remarkable start to the 2024 season, securing victories in five out of six races across the first two rounds of the MRF MMSC fmsci Indian National Car Racing Championship’s Formula 2000 class.
Competing at the prestigious Madras International Circuit near Chennai, Pariat’s outstanding performances have brought immense pride to his home state.

Having recently returned from a successful campaign at the British F4 championship in 2023, Pariat showcased his talent by dominating the races in Chennai.
Winning all three races in the second round and two out of three in the first round, he consistently displayed exceptional speed and driving skills, establishing himself as the fastest driver on the track throughout the racing days.
Transitioning from karting to open-wheel racing in 2022, Pariat has rapidly climbed the ranks of motorsports.

His journey includes competing in various national and international championships, such as the MRF LGB1300 Challenge and the JK Tyre National Racing Championship.
Notably, he made history by securing a podium finish in the ROKiT British F4 Championship, becoming the first racer from Meghalaya to achieve such a feat.
In addition to his impressive performances on the track, Pariat was selected among the elite few to participate in the Ferrari Driver Academy at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia.
With his sights set on further success, he is poised to continue his Formula 2000 campaign and is expected to unveil his plans for the 2024 season in both Europe and India in the near future.
