Shillong: Ronnie V Lyngdoh, a prominent Congress leader, has officially resigned from his position as the Leader of Opposition (LO) in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.

The resignation, effective from Monday, was confirmed through a notification issued by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Secretariat.

The notification stated that Lyngdoh’s resignation has been formally accepted by the Speaker, marking the end of his tenure as the opposition leader in the Meghalaya assembly.
