SHILLONG: Efforts are underway to locate and rescue a ragpicker from Shillong city in Meghalaya, who is reported to have been left trapped under a mountain of garbage in a dumping yard.
The trapped ragpicker has been identified as 30-year-old Marshal Marwein.

It may be mentioned here that Marshal Marwein has remained untraceable for over 48 hours till Monday (February 05) afternoon.
Personnel of the Meghalaya State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has been conducting the search and rescue operations to locate the missing ragpicker.
Marwein is trapped at the dumping yard in Mawlai – the only dumping yard in Shillong city of Meghalaya.
