Meghalaya reported 9 more Covid19 deaths and 379 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the National Health Mission (NHM), Meghalaya, with the new cases, the total Covid19 positive tally increased to 39,535 on Tuesday.
So far, a total of 678 people have lost their lives due to Covid19 infection.
According to the NHM Meghalaya data, a total of 773 patients, who earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the disease.
A total of 33,933 people have recovered from the disease so far in Meghalaya.
Meghalaya currently has 4,924 active Covid19 cases.
On Monday, Meghalaya reported 438 new positive cases.
A total of 5 people lost their lives due to Covid19 infection on Monday.
A total of 689 people recovered from the disease on Monday and the number of active cases was 5,327.
According to the NHM Meghalaya data, till Monday, a total of 4,78,180 people received Covid19 vaccine doses.
On Monday, a total of 1,442 people received Covid19 vaccine doses.
Of the 1,442 people, who received Covid19 doses on Monday, 152 were above 45 years, 402 were health care workers and 845 were frontline workers.
On Tuesday, India reported 86,498 new positive cases, which is the lowest in 66 days.
India’s active caseload further declined to 13,03,702 on Tuesday while active cases decreased by 97,907 in last 24 hours, Union health ministry said.
According to the Union health ministry, India has recorded a total of 2,73,41,462 recoveries so far.
A total of 1,82,282 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.
The country’s recovery rate increased to 94.29% on Tuesday.
The country’s daily positivity rate stood at 4.62% on Tuesday.
