Meghalaya reported eight fresh COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday.
The new cases include three BSF personnel from East Khasi Hills, one Army personnel from Ri Bhoi district and four civilians – three from East Khasi Hills district and one from Ri Bhoi district.
Now the number of active cases has gone up from 297 to 305 with the detection of eight new cases.
On Wednesday, 28 fresh positive cases were reported, after the two-day total lockdown was lifted in Shillong Agglomeration.
In total, 354 positive cases have been recorded which include 297 active cases, 47 persons who have recovered, and two deaths.
