Meanwhile, Meghalaya Congress leader Ampareen Lyngdoh has raised objection to the Chief Minister’s claim saying that people in Police Bazaar and Keating Road localities are yet to receive their vaccine jabs.

“…the area is in my Constituency and residents have informed me that they are yet to be vaccinated. A resident even sent me her token to say her slot is still pending,” Ampareen Lyngdoh tweeted.

Meanwhile, a total of 6,29,034 people in Meghalaya have received COVID-19 vaccine thus far.

Of them, 11,562 were vaccinated on Wednesday.
