The Directorate of Civil Defence & Home Guards, Govt. of Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Sub-Inspectors, Guardsman and Equivalent Ranks, Driver and Non Combatant Employee.

Educational Qualification :
Sub-Inspector : Bachelors Degree in any Stream from a recognized University / Institution
Guardsman : Class IX Passed
Driver : Class IX Passed with valid HMV/LMV driving license issued by the competent authority
Non Combatant Employee : Class V Passed

Job Locations :
Selected Candidates will have to serve anywhere in the state of Meghalaya after successfully completing the Basic Training of 9 (nine) months duration, extendable at the discretion of the undersigned.
Candidates who fail to pass the Basic Training and who perform unsatisfactorily will be summarily
discharged from service.

Candidates may send their applications along with attested copies of all relevant documents to the following offices- District Home Guards Commandant Shillong/ Jowai /Tura, District Training Centers Nongstoin/ Mawkyrwat, Nongpoh, Williamnagar, Resubelpara, Baghmara, Ampati And Central Training Institute, Civil Defence & Home Guards, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong.
Application form will be available at the above mentioned Offices with effect from 1st April 2024 on payment of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty rupees) only.
