Meghalaya government has decided to allow operation of restaurants, cafes and food outlets from June 22.

This came through an order issued by Meghalaya chief secretary, MS Rao, on Wednesday.

Operations of barbershops, beauty parlours are also allowed subject to compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) being issued by the Meghalaya Health & Family Welfare department.
