The Meghalaya government Monday extended the closure of all educational institutions in the State till April 30.
Deputy chief minister Prestone Tynsong told reporters after the cabinet meeting that the closure will continue till April 30.

He further informed that the government will again review the matter depending on the prevailing situation.
Earlier the Meghalaya government had extended the closure till April 15 to prevent the outbreak and spread of COVID-19.
All educational institutes remain closed and examinations have been postponed from March 16 in the State as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19 virus
