A compliant was filed against two persons for alleged threats on social media against Meghalaya Lok Sabha MP Agatha Sangma and her husband Patrick Marak.
The All Garo Hills SSA School Teachersโ Association on Monday filed an FIR at the Tura police station against two social media users, who allegedly urged teachers to attack Agatha and her husband Patrick during their wedding.

According to the FIR, on November 21, one โRx Sangmaโ in a Facebook post urged the teachers to โshoot the duo โฆโ.
He posted the comments on a Facebook group, โThe Times of Garo Hillsโ.
He alleged that they were getting married misusing the funds meant for the teachers and GHADC employees.

On November 22, one โRingring Gantiโ in the โInformation Todayโ page on Facebook allegedly said the people behind the Rx Sangma post could be teachers or GHADC employees.
Ganti also allegedly pointed fingers at Congress workers, saying that they too could also be behind the threat to Agatha and Patrick.
โThe above persons posted these with the purpose of causing annoyance, intimidation, ill-will, inconvenience, danger, insult, enmity and hatred,โ said the FIR.
It said they have been persistently making use of social media against the teachersโ body.
