Shops in Bara Bazaar or Iewduh in Meghalaya capital Shillong are flooded with such chocolates filled in containers shaped like syringes.

The HYC on Wednesday warned shops against the sale of chocolate made in the form of syringes.

The decision was taken after conducting checking on several shops at the market.

Members of the HYC Shillong City also seized the chocolate item ‘choco dose’ being sold by these shops.

The general secretary, Enlang Sawian, was of the view that selling of such chocolate filled in an inject-like container may have a negative impact in young children keeping in mind that Meghalaya is being infested by drugs.

The HYC has warned shops against selling such chocolates.
