BJP has roped in legendary rock singer of the Northeast septuagenarian Lou Majaw to woo voters in Meghalaya. Majaw will perform in Jowai on February 8 ‘for change, for BJP’.

The BJP in its twitter handle BJP4Meghalaya tweeted, “Friends from Jowai & around Jowai, join in for a lively, lovely performance by none other than our very own Bah Lou Majaw. Majaw commits to lending his voice for Change, for BJP. From 4pm onwards at the Tpep-pale Playground join friends from BJP, Lou’s team and other local artists.”

The BJP in Meghalaya also tweeted, “Here is our official campaign song for the Meghalaya Assembly Elections 2018. Do listen and share this peppy number sung by none other than Bah Lou Majaw. The song calls for Change! Join Lou Majaw sing it live with local artists tomorrow at Jowai.”

Majaw also lent his voice for the 2.30- minute BJP music video.  “It is time to raise a loud cheer…….. It is time for the waves of change to blow……The lotus flower will bloom for me..” Majaw sings.

BJP is expecting a boost in its poll campaign in Meghalaya considering Majaw’s popularity.
