There seems to be a no-stop surge of COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya as another 21 persons tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
DHS (MI) Dr Aman War in his updates said that 13 new cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, seven in Ri Bhoi and one in West Jaiñtia Hills district.
Out of 13 cases in East Khasi Hills, two are CRPF personnel, one BSF, and nine others.
Dr War informed that 18 patients have recovered raising the number of recovered patients from 52 to 70.
The recovered patients include 14 BSF personnel from East Khasi Hills district, 2 from West Jaiñtia Hills, and one each from Ri Bhoi and East Jaiñtia Hills district.
