Principal Secretary (Labour)  D P Wahlang said that so far, 5022 building and other construction workers have got their accounts credited successfully.

“Others are being checked in the report of the bank,” he said.

Wahlang informed that pertaining to data collection of daily wage earners who lost their livelihoods during the lockdown, the government has decided to extend help through the District Labour Commissioners.

The labour inspectors will also collect the data at the block level, he added.

“EOC will take physical data apart from calls at 1070. WhatsApp also will take and the EOC WhatsApp number is 8794731937,” he said.
