Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Monday attended the 20th celebration of North Eastern Space Application Centre (NESAC) foundation day via video conference from his official chamber in Shillong.
He congratulated the organization for its contribution to the north-eastern region for the overall development through space technology and IT-enabled services.

He also spoke on the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and how he envisioned a vibrant India with the use of technology and its allied application.
He said that during COVID times, everybody in the world has used IT enabled services for meetings and conferences and for collection of data which has helped in governance.
North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) was established as a joint initiative of the Department of Space (DOS) and the North Eastern Council (NEC) and came into being on 5th of September, 2000.
