Mooshahary emphasized that one of PA Sangma’s significant legacies is reflected in the character of his children, who, like their father, are known for their civility and integrity without any allegations of corruption.

He singled out Conrad Sangma, the current chief minister of Meghalaya, as the paragon of civility among all chief ministers in India.

Reflecting on PA Sangma’s contributions, Mooshahary noted that the late leader narrowly missed attaining the highest positions in the country, such as the President and Prime Minister, due to internal party dynamics.
