Almost 20% of the deaths due to Covid19 infection in Meghalaya are cases of ‘brought dead’ to the hospital, revealed National Health Mission (NHM) Meghalaya on Saturday.
Sharing the information, the NHM Meghalaya in a tweet on Saturday said due to delay in testing for the virus and availing early treatment, 20% of the infected patients lose their lives on the way to the hospital and they are declared “brought dead”.
The NHM Meghalaya has urged the people to get tested for Covid19 immediately if they have any symptoms.
It has requested the people to call 14410 for help.
