A school student from Sohra in Meghalaya has received invitation from Indian Research Space Organisation (ISRO) to witness moon landing of Chandrayaan-2 live in its headquarters in Bangalore.
Ribait Phawa, an NCC cadet and student of Rama Krishna Mission School, Sohra has been selected to witness the landing of Chandrayaan-2.

Phawa will get an opportunity to witness the Chandrayaan-2 landing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other scientists at ISRO on September 7.
Modi will be present at the control room of the ISRO to witness the landing .
Ribait has been selected after he cleared an All India Quiz Competition conducted by ISRO on space technology recently.

The ISRO had started an online quiz to increase awareness about its space programme which was conducted from August 10 to August 25.
The quiz could only be taken by schoolchildren from classes VIII to X.
In the quiz, a total of 10 questions were to be answered in a span of 10 minutes.
