Dimapur Ao Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship (DAABPF) is all set to organise mass prayer meet for the upcoming Assembly election in the State of Nagaland.
The mass prayer meet will held in every worship service in all the local churches.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, DAABPF president, Rev Zülu, and secretary, Rev Dr Temjen, stated that a resolution to this effect was passed during its meeting at Dimapur Ao Church (DABA) on Monday.
It was also resolved to sincerely participate in prayer when church bell rings at 6 am, the release further said.
The DAABPF further resolved that a prayer and fasting programme would be organised at an appropriate time, adding that the date would be announced soon from the office, the release added.

Meanwhile, the pastor’s fellowship has resolved to ‘sincerely appreciate’ the bold steps taken by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) general secretary, Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) or the Ao Baptist Church Association executive secretary, Rev Dr Mar Atsongchanger, and Ao Baptist Pastor Fellowship (ABPF) president, N Lipok Jamir, who had urged the political parties not to compromise ‘Christian principles and faith’ that ‘enabled the Nagas to make known in the global community’.
The DAABPF appealed to one and all to play active role in clean election process for a better Nagaland.
The DAABPF also called upon all the people of Nagaland to ‘exercise their fundamental rights with fear of God, with love for their land and people’ and keep themselves away from indulging in all types of corrupt practices.
