New Delhi: With the situation being tense in Manipur as the video of two women being paraded naked goes viral, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that the removal of CM N Biren Singh and a CBI inquiry will bring justice to the state.

The Hyderabad MP targetting Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “The Prime Minister made a statement after two months only because the video went viral and the world saw it. Only then he may have realised that Kukis were being subjected to genocide.”

“The video brings out the reality where two women are paraded naked and then raped after their family members were killed”, he said.

The MP further said that the only way to bring justice is to remove the Manipur CM, N Biren Singh and order a CBI inquiry.

It may be mentioned that after nearly 77 days, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a statement on the ongoing Manipur violence stating that the 140 crore Indians were put to shame by the incident.
