Imphal: Security Forces in Manipur conducted search operations in several locations across the state, recovering weapons in Churachandpur district but making no arrests.
Acting on intelligence reports, a combined team of police and security forces launched an operation in the fringe areas of YC Hill, Saikot village. The search yielded a single-barreled gun (country-made), three improvised heavy mortars (Pumpi), four live cartridges (70mm, locally made), three empty cartridge bores, and two empty mortar cartridges.

In a separate operation on Sunday, a combined force recovered a significant cache of weapons in Kamu Tampak village, Imphal East district. Items seized include a heavy calibre launcher, a shotgun, an improvised grenade launcher, pistols, hand grenades, MK-III grenades, tube launchers, an improvised explosive device, ammunition, and communication equipment.
Another joint operation involving police and the BSF in Kakching district focused on patrolling and searching suspected locations. While no weapons or arrests were made, 35 houses were searched, and 95 individuals were verified.
