Imphal: Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh has stated that there is a dire need for adequate funding to restore the state’s development momentum.
Speaking to the media in Imphal, Manipur CM Biren Singh highlighted the dual crises of the conflict situation and natural disasters that have severely impacted Manipur.

“Manipur is suffering due to the prevailing situation (ethnic strife) as well as we have met two times flood and hail storm,” said Biren Singh.
The Manipur chief minister added: “So adequate funds will be available to regain the development momentum of the state.”
