“Manipur deserves peace. I am happy to know that they earned it after years of struggle,” said PM Modi.
He added: “Development is reaching every corner of Manipur.”

Modi said that the youths of Manipur has made the nation proud in every field.
“Not just sports, youths from Manipur are doing great work in the field of start-ups and making the nation proud,” Modi said.
Earlier, PM Narendra Modi extended greetings to the three Northeast states of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura on their statehood day.
“Greetings to the people of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura on their Statehood Days. These states are making vibrant contributions to India’s development. Praying for their constant progress,” said PM Modi.
