National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Assistant Project Engineer in the sponsored project funded by DST(Manipur), Govt. of Manipur entitled “Manipuri Sign Language Recognizer Based on AI” under the supervision Dr. Oinam Bidyapati Chanu. NIT Manipur started its first session altogether on 2nd August 2010 with only three branches of Engineering namely – Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering at Government Polytechnic, Takyelpat Campus. It is also presently functioning in its Permanent Campus at Langol, Imphal, with two more Engineering Branches namely – Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The institute has acquired 341.5 acres of land in lush green areas of Langol, Imphal. The Institute is administered by the Director of the Institute altogether under the direct supervision of Board of Governors(BOG) headed by The Chairman of the Board of Governors as the institute is registered under Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989.

Qualification :
Essential: BE/ B.Tech in CSE/IT or ME/ M.Tech in CSE/IT or equivalent
Preferable: Candidates having knowledge and experience in AI/ML/DL
Salary : Rs. 19166/- per month (consolidated)
Age Limit : Age of the candidates must be below 30 years. Relaxation as per Govt. norms

Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be held on 12th June 2024 at 11 AM altogether in Conference Hall, Admin Block, NIT Manipur
