The formation of the committee follows a deadly incident on Sunday, September 1, at Koutruk village in Imphal West district.
Alleged Kuki militants employed high-tech drones to deliver Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs), resulting in the tragic death of a civilian woman and injuries to several others, including three police personnel.
The committee, chaired by Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) Ashutosh Kumar Sinha, will collect evidence, analyze the specifications of the drones used, and explore effective countermeasures.
