Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh has chaired a consultation meeting with doctors, bureaucrats and police officials to contain the spread of the mutant strains of Covid-19 in the state.
The meeting focused on key factors of Covid-19 management like manpower, availability of medical equipment, vaccination, etc.
The chief minister also discussed on the nature of lockdown and containment zones that needs to be imposed in the state in case cases rise dramatically in the days to come.
Manipur of late has been recording a rise in Covid-19 cases, calling for stricter adherence to SOPs issued by the Manipur government.
The government had already imposed night curfew in all districts of the state.
Sought expert opinion from medical experts, bureaucrats and the police to effectively tackle COVID-19 second wave.
