The first monthly district level officers’ coordination committee meeting for the year 2020 in connection with the upcoming Republic Day celebration was held at deputy commissioner’s conference hall under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner N Bandana Devi of Manipur’s Thoubal District.
Important matters pertaining to the celebration of Republic Day were discussed and resolved in the meeting.

In a bid to organize the celebration in a grand manner, the meeting resolved to hold the Republic Day celebration at Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School, Thoubal playground this year.
Other matters discussed in the day’s meeting included seventh Economic Census, PMAGY, DLRSC (Transport), ‘Meeyam Numit’(People’s Day) and its follow up action, publication of ‘Thoubal Today’ etc which will be brought out by district information and public relations officer, Thoubal on the occasion of Republic Day celebration.
The meeting which was attended by ADC, Thoubal L Radhakanta, sub-divisional officers and district level officers also discussed about the frequent power failure in the district and to seek the intervention of the authority concerned to solve the problem at the earliest.
