She emphasized the importance of supporting the “Vocal for Local” and “Self-reliant Manipur” campaigns, as envisioned by the Chief Minister.

By purchasing locally made gifts, people can contribute to the economic well-being of rural artisans and traditional craftsmen, preserving Manipur’s rich cultural heritage.

Ningol Chakkouba, once exclusively celebrated by the Meitei community, has now gained widespread acceptance among various ethnic groups in Manipur.

Y Leirik Leima highlighted the quality of Manipur-made products, urging people to choose local goods as gifts and bolster the state’s economy.
