Key measures highlighted were the deployment of Central Armed Police Forces to assist the state, strengthening intelligence sharing through the Multi-Agency Centre and NATGRID, enforcement of legal frameworks against terrorism, and enhanced surveillance along borders and vulnerable areas to prevent infiltration.
In a related development, the Chief Minister shared on X details of steps to strengthen security in the Jiribam district, bordering southern Assam.
