Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh welcomed the successful candidates of the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) 2022 batch at the 14th Foundation Day celebration of Creative Circle Coaching Institute, held at Hotel Imolesh in Imphal on July 15.

Addressing the newly selected candidates, the Chief Minister lauded their merit-based success, noting that a transparent recruitment system is essential for strengthening public trust in governance.

To ensure complete impartiality, he deliberately refrained from contacting the MPSC Chairman before the results were announced and offered his congratulations only after the declaration of the results.

When asked by the Chief Minister whether they had any doubts regarding the transparency of the recruitment process, the candidates unanimously responded, “No.” To further nurture local talent, the Chief Minister announced the implementation of the Chief Ministerโ€™s Scholarship Scheme for Civil Services. Backed by an annual budget of Rs 2.8 crore, the initiative will fully fund the preparation of the top 200 civil service aspirants in the state.

During his address, the Chief Minister praised Creative Circle Coaching Institute for its resilience in mentoring aspirants despite the COVID-19 pandemic and prevailing law-and-order challenges.

He advised the new officers to serve with unwavering integrity, honesty, and dedication while staying away from corruption and unethical practices.

The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including retired IAS officer RK Nimai Singh, retired IPS officer Thangjam Brojen, retired Principal of G.P. Womenโ€™s College B. Lalhari Sharma, institute faculty members, parents, and well-wishers.
