A powerful improvised explosive device (IED) blast has rocked Imphal – the capital city of Manipur.
The IED explosion was reported from Telipati area of Imphal.
The IED went off in Manipur’s Imphal at around 3:30am of Wednesday.
The IED exploded in front of a godown.
The gate of the godown was damaged in the blast.
However, no fatality or injury in the bomb blast was reported in bomb blast.

Meanwhile, police have cordoned off the area.
A team of forensic experts also arrived at the scene to gather evidences.
An investigation into the blast has also been launched.
No militant group, thus far, has taken responsibility for the blast.
On December 15 too, Manipur’s capital city – Imphal – was rocked by a bomb blast.
