Manipur continues to report high single-day spikes in COVID-19 cases.
Manipur on Tuesday detected over 400 COVID-19 cases.
As many as 433 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Manipur on Tuesday.
Among the new 433 cases, 250 are male, 182 are female and 1 case belonged to the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.
With the detection of these fresh 433 new COVID-19 cases, Manipur’s active cases tally has jumped to 2391.
Of the total 2391 active COVID-19 cases in Manipur, 2276 are from the general public and 115 are from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.

Meanwhile, the total COVID–19 cases in Manipur has also risen to 32,956.
On the other hand, Manipur on Tuesday logged 2 new COVID-19 deaths.
While one of the deceased was a 58-year-old man hailing from Thoubal district in Manipur, the other was a 45-year-old male from Bishnupur district of the State.
The cumulative COVID-19 death toll in Manipur has risen to 424.
Meanwhile, as many as 111 persons have also recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
“They are from CAPF (4), Home Isolation (87), RIMS (4), JNIMS (9), RAJMED (1) and SHRI (6),” stated the latest health bulletin from the Manipur Health Department.
Manipur’s COVID-19 recovery rate now stands at 91.45%.
