Guwahati: A 42-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Churachandpur, Manipur on Wednesday night.
Police said that the man was found with injury marks on his head and chest.

The deceased was identified as Henry Guita.
He was a resident of the Ngatha village in Churachandpur.

His body was found near a drain at T Khajang village on Wednesday.
A team of Churachandpur district police picked up the dead body of Guite and sent it for postmortem.

The motive behind the alleged murder is yet to be established, police said.
No outfit, so far, has claimed responsibility for the murder.
Police added that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and attempts to arrest the killer(s).
